The TOSCA project has reached another important milestone with the successful installation and validation of the Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) head at the FIDAMC facilities.
The new system is now fully operational and has already been used in initial trials, supporting advanced lay-up processes and the production of high-quality laminate configurations. This achievement strengthens the project capabilities in automated manufacturing, enabling partners to test innovative materials and processes under relevant industrial conditions.
The installation represents a key step toward the upcoming project demonstrations and further reinforces the key contribution of FIDAMC within the consortium advanced manufacturing activities.
