Novel vitrimer tapes based on the 3R system will be used for the rapid production of parts that will be easier to repair and intrinsically recyclable.
To globally address the repair of such innovative materials, the corresponding methodologies will be developed by updating existing protocols, ensuring efficient maintenance and repair of vitrimer-based aircraft parts.
Proprietary curing and pneumatic equipment and toolings such as GMI Aero ANITA hot bonders and OLGA positive pressure application device will be upgraded for the repair of vitrimers, compliant to aeronautical standards.
