On July, 8th 2026, the consortium met for the Review Meeting of the first period of the project in a conference room near Gare du Nord, Paris.
The consortium was joined there by Project Officer Estanislao Parczewski Cruz, arriving from Brussels. With expansive presentations and a few short but illuminating videos, the completed work packages and achieved results of the first half of the project were demonstrated to the project officer. The presentations were supported by various props for further illumination, like material samples, panels including SHM sensors, and even a small quality inspection sensor. The Review Meeting was finished with a visit to the GMI Aero sites with an extensive guided tour through their facilities and demonstrations of their repair equipment.
The meeting was very well organized by the hosts, in general very successful, and further provided us with ample opportunities to sample the exquisite local French cuisine.
