The system will provide information about the location and severity of the damage.<\/p><p><strong>High fidelity finite element models<\/strong> are being developed for the simulation of damage caused by a certain impact and its progression in normal operating conditions. From this simulation, reduced order models will be built to effectively predict the component response in real-time.<\/p><p>A methodology combining the sensing and monitoring capabilities with the virtual replica of the damaged component is being built as a <strong>structural health monitoring system<\/strong> to trigger in depth inspections and repair actions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b71cb01 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\"
