CIDETEC has successfully initiated the next phase of the project by manufacturing the first prepregs and unidirectional (UD) tapes using carbon fibre and a custom-formulated 3R vitrimer resin. These advanced materials have been tailored to meet the project’s technical specifications and will be delivered to partners FIDAMC and Addcomposites, who will now begin refining the Automated Fibre Placement (AFP) process.
